This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit and use the website https://pe4pisa.info.
The PE4PISA website is operated by the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education e.V. (ICSSPE). PE4PISA is an initiative and not a separate legal entity. ICSSPE is therefore responsible for the processing of personal data on this website unless otherwise stated.
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as name, e-mail address, IP address or usage data.
This Privacy Policy is based on the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – BDSG), and applicable German digital-services and telecommunications/data-protection rules.

4. Hosting and server log files
When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files. This may include:

If you contact ICSSPE or the PE4PISA initiative by e-mail (for example, via the "Join the Network" or "Get in touch" links on the website, which open an email to hello@pe4pisa.info), ICSSPE processes the personal data you provide, such as your name, e-mail address, organisation, message content and any other information you voluntarily include.
This data is processed to respond to your enquiry and to manage communication relating to PE4PISA.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. ICSSPE's legitimate interest lies in responding to enquiries and communicating about the initiative. If your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual matter, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR may also apply.
The data will be stored only as long as necessary for the purpose of the communication, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Newsletter or updates
The PE4PISA website does not currently offer a separate newsletter registration.
9. Embedded third-party content
This website does not currently embed third-party content such as videos, maps, social media feeds, external fonts, embedded documents, or registration tools.
Fonts (Montserrat) are hosted directly on ICSSPE's own server and are not loaded from external services such as Google Fonts.
10. Recipients of personal data
Personal data may be processed by ICSSPE staff, authorised project contributors, IT service providers, hosting providers, e-mail service providers, and other processors engaged by ICSSPE.
Where service providers process personal data on behalf of ICSSPE, ICSSPE will conclude appropriate data processing agreements under Article 28 GDPR where required.
Personal data will not be sold.
11. International data transfers
ICSSPE does not transfer personal data collected through this website to countries outside the European Union or European Economic Area. All data processing related to this website takes place on servers located within the European Union.
This section will be updated if the website is extended in future to use providers based outside the EU/EEA.
12. Retention periods
ICSSPE stores personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage.
Server log files are retained only for technical and security purposes. Contact enquiries are retained for as long as necessary to respond and manage follow-up communication. Data related to PE4PISA may be retained for the duration of the initiative and thereafter where necessary for documentation, reporting or legal obligations.

15. Data security
ICSSPE uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These measures are reviewed and adapted where necessary. The website is delivered over an encrypted HTTPS connection (TLS/SSL) to protect data in transit between your browser and the server.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
ICSSPE may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the website, legal requirements or data-processing activities. The current version is available on this website with the "Last updated" date at the top.
